“Volunteering with Angels has allowed me to feel like I’m making a difference in the lives of those who have lost a loved one in the line of service or duty. To be able to give back to the children of those who gave their all to protect me and my family, is incredibly rewarding…  The Angel family is invested, dedicated and full of heart. It includes everyone from the staff and volunteers to the families of the fallen, all working together to fill a need. There is a lot of love in this family and you’ll definitely create lifelong friendships.” When asked what her favorite part about being an Angel volunteer was, Kris responded with, “I absolutely love the people! The staff and the other volunteers are so welcoming and passionate and grateful to be a part of the mission. They make you feel valued and respected and are just so enjoyable to be around!”
