Your Support Makes a Difference in Georgia
Empowering Georgia Angels
Angels of America’s Fallen deeply appreciates At Ease Inspections, their team, clients, and all of our donors for their ongoing support of the children of the fallen. Because of your generosity, our Georgia-based Angels are thriving, growing, and writing their own stories of possibilities and hope.
In 2025, three children were moved off the Angels waiting list and into active enrollment because of your support. This brings the total number of Georgia children served to 24. Angels of America’s Fallen will stand shoulder-to-shoulder with these children until their nineteenth birthday.
Healing in Motion: Cooper’s Story
This smiling face may be familiar to you. Meet Cooper, an energetic 11-year-old who has been part of the Angels Program since 2021. If you’ve ever attended an event with At Ease Inspections, you likely met Cooper’s mom, Katie, and heard first-hand how your support is making a difference in her son’s healing journey.

Cooper was just 2 years old when he lost his father to PTSD. His father, Senior Airman Robert, bravely served his country on multiple combat deployments. In the initial aftermath, Katie heard “no” from organizations serving families of the fallen due to the manner in which her hero passed.
“The first time I heard about Angels of America’s Fallen, I was nervous…I was not sure that I could go through that feeling of defeat and rejection again.” However, when she called Angels and connected with our program team, she heard something far different. She was told that it did not matter how her hero passed, that his service and life mattered. And Angels was here to help her family.
Unfortunately, Angels of America’s Fallen had a significant waitlist at the time. We enrolled Cooper in swim lessons until there was space for his full enrollment.
In 2021, Katie learned that Cooper was moving off the waitlist and into active enrollment, which was only possible because of supporters like At Ease Inspection and you. “I cried at what a blessing it was for us to receive that…Cooper has always wanted to play football and it was always something that his dad was so eager and excited for him to do. Cooper took the fields in his dad’s jersey number and played local youth football all because of generous and kind-hearted people.”
Since then, Cooper has pursued his passion through activities such as soccer, marine science, dog training, and the culinary arts.

Angels of America’s Fallen deeply appreciates the steadfast support of At Ease Inspections, their staff, clients, friends, and families. You have made stories like Cooper’s possible.
