Rex Jones

Rex Jones has over 30 years of HR leadership experience in a wide variety of settings. He has provided leadership to payroll processes, compensation and benefits, employee relations, talent acquisition/onboarding, and leadership development.

Rex opened his own HR Consulting firm, On Demand HR, in 2015 after working for a variety of larger organizations. On Demand HR provides fractional HR leadership to small/mid-sized organizations to help transform companies into a high-performing culture while maintaining regulatory compliance. The firm provides guidance to CEOs and other key leaders of small businesses to help them build leadership capability and drive performance throughout the organization through the establishment of exceptional HR processes, policies, and execution.

Rex’s prior experience includes more than 20 years with consumer product giant Kimberly-Clark Corporation in a multitude of roles supporting a variety of business groups, three years with Energy Future Holdings leading the HR department for the holding company over TXU Energy, Luminant and Oncor, and two years with Deluxe Corporation supporting six business units spanning the U.S. and Canada.

In those roles, Rex established himself as a strong business partner, ensuring human resource practices delivered results in support of organizational objectives. His focus on aligning HR practices and processes with business objectives creates a significant positive impact for his clients.

Rex has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources/Labor Relations from the University of Iowa and a Master of Arts in Human Resources from the University of Alabama. He is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and DallasHR.
