On October 20, Angel of America’s Fallen, Karen Kantor, received the top award given this year by Mentally STRONG. Mentally STRONG is an outpatient mental health management clinic that is recognizing and celebrating those who have overcome hardship and are committed to promoting mental health in our community.  Karen is a wounded veteran whose personal story of recovery is truly inspirational.  Her courage and determination were not only key in her recovery, but have spilled over into her professional life. She works tirelessly with families who have lost loved ones in the line of service, whether military or a first responder. Her enthusiasm for life and support of those who have suffered so much certainly make Karen a wonderful asset to Angels of America’s Fallen as well as to the community. Congratulations Karen!
