Children of Fallen Heroes to be Honored on the Field at Air Force Academy VS. Navy Game
Angels of America’s Fallen (AOAF), has been selected as Community Champions for the Air Force Academy vs. Navy football game on Saturday, Oct. 1st. AOAF-sponsored children will be hosted on the field.
“We are truly honored to be able to take the field with these youngest of heroes,” said Joe Lewis, Founder & CEO of AOAF. “Their parent gave all for us and we are here to honor their fallen parent’s legacy.”
Prior to the game, AOAF will be hosting a tailgate event so local AOAF families and those who volunteer and work to serve the children of fallen can meet and spend time in fellowship.
Founded in 2012, Angels of America’s Fallen (AOAF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to help the children of America’s fallen military and first responders develop into strong and successful adults by granting funds and/or supplies for positive mentoring and developmental activities such as sports, art, or music during their most crucial developmental years (from the time of loss through age 18).
