#MissionMoment: Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn, a 13-year-old from Florida, has benefited from the Angels program in many ways to help overcome the loss of her hero and father, Air National Guard Master Sergeant Martin G. Like her Silks dance classes that require lots of energy and strength to pull herself up and hold the position, it takes those same attributes of energy and strength to overcome the loss of a parent. And the Angels program has been with her each step of the way.

Kaitlyn says: “Thanks to Angels of America’s Fallen I am able to participate in dance classes. I am currently enrolled in Latin and Silks. I enjoy attending my Latin classes because of the high energy dance moves. I always feel happy and excited to go to that class. My ultimate favorite dance class is Silks. I enjoy these classes because I get to practice and learn tricks each time. It requires lots of strength to pull yourself up and hold your position with each trick. I have been getting better and better every time. Thank you so much for the opportunity to participate in an activity that brings me so much joy! I always look forward to dancing!”
